Chapter 9:Water rationing, what now?

The water is running low, you're worried about running out and it's time to ration the water supplies. What now?

You tell me.

I've been thinking about this topic because I never really found any connection until this morning.
My cup, my water, my supply is God.
When I find myself running dry, it's not because God isn't the all sufficient living water. Sometimes I think you just have to start digging for water somewhere else. Maybe one month you're drinking up the scriptures, the next month your supply is coming from worship and praise, and the next week you notice that your prayer times are what is truly satisfying you. There are a lot of things, within God, that nourish you and supply you with what you need to make it through the day.

Also, sometimes when the water is floating around in your well, easy to get to, we begin to take it for granted and are not willing to work for it. The well might begin to dry up and all we do is stand at the well, rationing water, and bemoaning our circumstances, when God is saying "Look for me. Quit expecting me to be at your beck and call, only seeking me when you want something, and come look for me."
